| The objective of this department is
the realization of geologic studies for scientific research
at surfaces as well as at the subsoil with direct application
to the search and evaluation of mineral deposits of
economic value, and the prospecting and evaluation of
ground water by using new state of the art tools. At
the same time, focus is on the application and testing
of new ideas for the solution of geo-hydrological and
mineral problems.
As another objective, the personnel of this department
with excellent education on all levels offers services,
consulting, and expert advice on geo-hydrology, mining,
and regional geology of the subsoil to individuals
as well as to municipal or governmental offices.
