The sense of carrying out graduate studies becomes more pressing every day, the level of competition for the new generations of scientists and technologists requires the understanding, handling and developments of more complex systems and interrelated in different areas, in whatever field of knowledge we may be dealing with.

There is also a phenomenon of acceleration in the evolution of practically all Sciences and Technologies, spurred on by, among other factors, the use of more and more powerful computing equipment for handling great amounts of specialized information, instantaneous communication through the Internet among Scientists and Professionals from all parts of the world. This allows for the study of the same phenomenon by scattered work teams in several countries, the availability of technical and scientific equipment through rapid business operations in global market settings, the urgency for generating new products, and processes of a low environmental impact in order to satisfy needs that were thought as solved and are being demanded by a growing population, and the urgency as well, to implement remediation mechanisms and to stop environmental processes of degradation that have arisen from the use of wrong technologies, the generation of new therapeutic options for old illnesses and their new and more complex versions as well as others present in these times.

In a setting such as the one described, it is fundamental for new professionals to keep themselves up to date and with enough preparation to understand new advances in Science and Technology, that is to say, with a clear understanding of the very mechanisms of Scientific Research and their implementation in real scenarios.
